Dave,

Thank you for answering my first question.

I am pretty convinced I will start a month to month subscription in August. I am travelling to Africa in early July and will be to busy to commit until I get back. In the meantime I would like to know what you recommend for harps, software, and aids to get me through the beginner level. That way I can get them before I subscribe in August.

Welcome to the site

Welcome to the site whaletosh. You'll need an A and a G Harmonica. The Hohner Crossover is my favorite, though for the money, the Hohner Special 20 gets the job done. The Amazing Slow Downer (http://www.ronimusic.com) and HarpNinja (http://www.harpninja.com) are the two programs that will aid your learning greatly. Best wishes on your travels and see you in August.
