Hi Kinya

I have been watching your video on reed replacement. On the video are you saying that if a reed is out of tune by 50 cents or more then it is better to replace the reed?

Are the Lee Oskar (major diatonic) reeds interchangeable as they are with Hohner reeds i.e. could I replace the 9 draw (F) on my C harmonica with a 9 blow reed from a Bb?

Do you know if it is possible to purchase individual reeds for Lee Oskars? I have only seen replacement reed plates online.

Thanks

Yes. I would replace the

Yes. I would replace the reed.

Yes. 9 blow (F) from a Bb harmonica will match the 9 draw (F) slot of a C harmonica

Distributors in USA, do not sell individual Tombo/Lee Oskar replacement reeds. These will have to come from "donor" harmonicas, or purchase new replacement reed plates.

Your Harpsmith, Kinya
