Question about Tongue Block & Bending

Hey David!

I want to ask, if it's possible to bend a note with tongue blocking. And if it's possible, does it work?

Or should I play without tongue blocking?

Because I'm sitting on the Study Song 3 "Feelin' for the Blues" and, like

you know, there are bending notes.

And another question:

I try to work on my tongue agility with tongue blocking study 2.5 and at ex. 1.2 my 2 draw doesn't sound. It's

to quiet and I want to say "pressed". The tone doesn't come out enough. What did I wrong?

I'm looking forward to your answer and greetings.

Rouven

Hello Rouven. All of the

Hello Rouven. All of the bending taught on the site is in a tongue block. In regards to the 2 draw, this is a very typical issue. Go to https://www.bluesharmonica.com/faq and watch the video titled, "My 2 draw and/or high-end notes sounds flat, airy or not at all!"
