Hi Dave,

On chorus 5 of the strut, at the beginning of bar 7, it shows to dip but on the recording it sounds like you're slapping, should i be trying to slap and dip at the same time, if so how?

or is it a matter of personal preference?

TIA

Saul

Hello Saul. I recommend that

Hello Saul.

I recommend that you dip it.

It's possible that I slapped that dip, though you don't need to at your level. If you would like to challenge yourself to slap your dip, your goal is at the moment your tongue hits the face of the harmonica for the slap, the top of your tongue will also hit the bent position for the 3 (humped in the bend position), and then your tongue relaxes to release the bend.

Thanks Dave, I'll work on it

Thanks Dave, I'll work on it as it really does sound good but understand that it may be a little too challenging at this stage.

Keep well buddy.
