Hello David!

Just wondering — in the pull technique, can the single note be a blow note while the accompanying chord is a draw chord, or the opposite — a draw single note with a blow chord?I noticed this in example 2.1, section 2 (“Bass Lines”).

Hello Elsa P. Typically, if you have a pull between two draw notes, it's a draw pull. If it's a pull between two blow notes, it's a blow pull. If you have a pull between a draw and blow, or vice versa, it's up to you what feels comfortable.
