Hey David--I've been loving the small amp reviews and am extremely curious about the Princeton. I noticed that you had the volume on 2 and cranked out a marvelous tone. In a gig situation, how much more can the volume knob be twisted before feedback begins to creep into the mix?

I have a Harp Train 10 and have played in numerous gig scenerios, low volume small venue and mic'ed at larger venues and in between. Band is not loud, but I did have a bit of trouble hearing myself at a larger setting not to long ago. I did take your advice on the speaker swap. The amp is voiced a bit dark and the original speaker made it mo' dark and the new speaker gave it a voicing that's more pleasing.

Anyway, back to the Princeton. I think it could be a go to amp for the gigs at larger venues, especially when we ad a drummer to  our four piece. Not sure I want to spend the bucks yet, though. Thanks for all you do.

Never Mind I Bought One

Disregard the question. I bought one and it answers it all. Great amp. Great tone. It will do the do perfectly for me.
