Hello Everybody;

I have a quick question about practicing the study songs.

I tend to practice and practice and practice a study song until I get it right. The problem is that at the end I get so sick and tired of that song that I am not enjoying it anymore.

Would you recommend practicing two or three songs at the same time or do you thing it would be counterproductive.

Thanks a lot;

Steve

Rotate a few songs

Even if you get it right, you may find that your expertise deteriorates if you then drop it and go on to something else.

Rotating a *few* songs could be a good strategy. You may find that coming back around to each song after a little time with the others will actually build a stronger mastery, and also not get you sick of the song.

But including too many and you'll be taking on too much. Also, grouping songs that complement each other by being similar in difficulty or involving similar skills could help one song reinforce another.
