Hello David,
I work on an offshore oil rig and cannot practice much and also its impossible for me to try and learn anything new...Its when i'm at home that I can learn new lessons etc... Please tell me what would be the thing to practice to stay on top of what I learnt and not slip back every time i'm away on the rig? if that is possible!!
In other words what exercises would you suggest I practice as I can only practice for about 20 minutes approximately everyday even with that sometimes I may skip a day or two in between.

Hmmm... the main thing about preventing backsliding is having that harp in your mouth... playing the stuff you've learned... songs and such. You could of course practice the blues scale and major pentatonic scale, bending exercises (found at the beginning of any of the bending lessons... on the pdf's) and anything else you feel will be beneficial (the tongue blocking exercises would be good as well).

Thanks David... I'll try to

Thanks David... I'll try to keep up with that on the rig at least for 10 - 15 minutes and spend the remaining time just jamming along to some of my favorite blues artists. That should be good enough for me to maintain my hard won skills!! with the limited time I have....
