Position of harmonica relative to my teeth?

Thank you for helping.

In my efforts to deeply insert the harmonica in my mouth so I can achieve better tone, I am stumped by how deep to insert it; and, specifically, should the harmonica be placed past my teeth or stay on the lip-side of my teeth?

Hello brittleonard. Give or take, a 1/4" past your teeth. I personally tilt the face of my harmonica downwards, so for me, slightly less for the bottom plate, and slightly more for the upper plate.
