Hi !

What about that amp?
Is there something to do to get this one more harp friedly?
I just bought one but it's very bright sounding and lot of feedback.

thanks! jk

Peavey Classic 50

Hello JK- It would certainly be worth trying lower-gain subs for the 12AX7 tubes, and if it has 4-10s, I would suggest disconnecting two of them. I'm sure that a great player could sound fine with that amp (especially outdoors) but mere mortals will have a tough time getting a good sound without feedback. Don't be tempted by actual mods involving circuit changes or soldering. Keep looking for a good deal on a more appropriate amp, then sell the Peavey.
