Hi David,

The difference is one not blow note on the 3rd hole, right? I guess it is ok for the material on this website to use the Paddy harmonica in A, isn't it?

I have just learnt that there are a lot of tunings for various occasions such as country, and other tunings ...

Thanks,

MG

Hello MG.

Yes, it's just the 3+ that has changed. Instead of both 2 draw and 3+ being G, the 2 draw remains the same, but the 3+ is now changed to A (one of the missing notes of the major scale in the lower four holes).

You can use it for these lessons, just change anything notated as 3+ to 2 draw. Be aware that 2 draw is harder to play, so you'll need to be patient with that note if you experience issues.

When you get to the lessons that use octaves you'll need to switch to a standard diatonic, or not play the 6+ octave when present, but you don't need to worry about that now.
