Level 1 player, I can produce tone now on all 10 holes so new I not even tried bending yet "newbee" the question is that

I have tried exe.1.1 octaves and I can switch from holws 1 ,4 by switching my tongue but I CAN NOT PLAY OCTAVES TOGETHER.

at all, does this reflect BAD single note technique, I'm worried that even though I can make a tone on the holes I'm not doing it

correctly could be just wired technihe,I have the felisko tb and it helps but it's  not definitive it seems to cover 3 holes but it

does not feel like it when I go try exe 1.1 octave unisons, I have allready flunked the first excercise!

Welcome to the site ella2000.

Welcome to the site ella2000. That's great you can switch between single holes 1 and 4. This is the most important technique for you right now, don't worry about the octave.

With practice and time you'll be able to get the octave. The key thing is to use a very light touch with your tongue on the face of the harmonica, using the top of your tongue, just behind the tip, or the tip if you need to.

Best wishes on your studies.

Thank you Mr. David

Thank you Mr. David Barrett,

OK I see what is happening, I used the Felisko TBT with full effectiveness, I must I think, and discoverd that indeed

my tounge is not blockibg 3 holoes it's only blocking 1, 2 at most but this feels cmfortable, move around fast, and produce

good tone. I'ts a HYBRID " TB, PUCKERING" technique. I'm at 5th chorus of " Walk with me" sounding ok, covering 3 holes at all

times sets me back, not and agility not as good.

Having your mouth over three

Having your mouth over three holes total, blocking the two holes with your tongue to the left is okay. When you move to playing octaves (Tongue Block Study 4) you'll need to focus on opening up more at that time.
