Hi David

Sorry, this is a very basic question! What do the Roman numerals I, IV, V etc signify? I think I heard you mention it in one of the videos but now I can't find it.

As a second point, about forums, is there any way to search for questions asked in previous topics?

Many thanks

Simon

Hello Simon. The Roman

Hello Simon.

The Roman numerals represent the chords the band is playing beneath you. A quick lesson on how the chords work are in Accompaniment Playing 2 (https://www.bluesharmonica.com/lessons/accompaniment_study_2). At your skill level, they're more of a marker of where you are in a song. Later, you'll learn how they drive your phrasing, and the actual notes you play when it comes to improvising.

We don't have that feature, but it's in the site redesign that we're working on right now.
