I've had been through each interview when they came out. They all have some very valuable info. However recently I've visited all the interviews to watch the segments on improvising. Man did I get a bunch of info on that topic. I would highly recommend re-visiting the interviews often because as you progress new things will jump out at you that you didn't catch the first time.

good tip

thanks John, i was just thinking about doing a comparison of approaches, thinking about gary primich's pentatonic scale exercise and AG's 3 octave 5th - Root exercise, both of which i'm finding helpful. but your suggestion makes obvious sense. if i could just get the clips to load...
