No Garage Band

Hi I have only started trying to play,but have been recording my self using a free download called Audacidy will this be ok to record and send to David .Any one else use this download I just use the very basic at the moment have not imported any music yet. Help welcome

It doesn't matter how you record, just that it's an MP3 when you submit. I'm working on a video lesson for PC users...

I'm afraid this one will take a while... there's four software programs involved in making this and I'm right now learning two of them...

Audacity

Yes RonnyB I used it and sent my first recording to david and it worked great.

I didn't even mute the speaker audio by listening through ear bud I just opened the mp3 recording of Daves hit record and it automatically opens the recording channel that you can adjust the level up or down afterwards although it's best to be recording at or about the correct level when you record I just used my computer mic (very directional).

You may have to change a setting to allow you to record in stereo I found it sounded much better but if you go to the web site for Audacity you can search and get any answer, I was pleased with my results.

Thanks for that Mark I have been playing about with Audacity and found out you can import mp3 recordings,slow them down etc.
