Hi David,

Reference diagram 5.4, I'm not understanding the concept of moving anti-clockwise. Please can you explain.

Hey Paul. The idea is that

Hey Paul. The idea is that you can use the diagram in reverse if you want... starting from the band key and moving backwards (counter-clockwise) to choose your harmonica.

For example... if the Band is in G, you can use your G Harmonica in 1st Position.

Go back one 5th and you see that you can use your C Harmonica to play in that key of G (2nd Position).

Moving back one more 5th, you can use the F Harmonica to play in G (3rd position).

This is just another way of looking at the Circle of 5th's as a reference.
