I'm interested in getting a mid-size amp, 15 watts or so. What are some better out of the box amps?

Are you doing new amp reviews? I see your list of equipment top picks is from 2020 but it doesn't have any advice about mid-size amps.

Hello BumLicker45. At that

Hello BumLicker45.

At that wattage there's one common amp, the Fender Reissue Bassman (early 1990s). For this, check out the Bassman Chronicles.

Another option, if you're interested in vintage, a higher wattage head like a Masco ME-18 would be good for example. For this, check out the Vintage PA Head Chronicles.

Basically there are no new good-sounding options that come to mind at that wattage, so we look for vintage amps. Let me know if you have any questions in your search.
