Wonderful amp... congrats. I think your green bullet is a great choice... no need to buy anything. If you want a little more volume from the amp, play a cleaner mic... a mic with an Astatic crystal or ceramic element would be great.

Yes, I have always received great work from Fritz. What model Shure Bullet do you have? 520, 520D or 520DX (the new one with the volume control)?

What you have is perfect for that amp... no need for a new mic, at least for that amp. If you want a little more distortion (and less volume) go for a strong CR or CM. If you want a little more volume (and a little more volume) go for a Crystal or Ceramic. Keep in mind that there are some super-strong Crystals out there (pick of the litter) that can be as strong as a CM or CR, so these are just general guidelines. Again, for this amp, what you have is perfectly matched.

Dennis Gruenling swears by the Kinder unit, but keep in mind that your amp is not a stage amp (large enough to hear yourself on the bandstand)... so use it for what it's great for (small shows and recording) and save your $ for a larger amp.
