Would appreciate feedback on this proposed setup. Mic to reverb peddle via instument cable. Peddle to amp via instrument cable. Amp to speakers via speaker cable.

Cable set-up

John S: Not sure exactly what you're asking, but:

Figure you must mean "instrument" cables from mic to pedal, and from pedal to amp. That's normal. Also assume high impedence mic going into high impedence input into an amp head.

Good quality cables matter, especially for the mic cable, which tends to get stepped on, and grab you like a boa constrictor, when you're on stage. The higher the quality, the less the chance that the cabel shielding will get messed with, and eventually cause problems. And there are folks who'll tell you that 20' is about the max for a mic cable set up for high impedence. If the pedal is close to the amp, not so much of a concern.

What amp head and speaker cab set-up are you using?

Instrument cable

UkuleleRob appreciate you reply. I am using a Bulletini  or harp blaster mic into a lone wolf reverb peddle then into (cable type?)  a Laney cub 10 and then into a lany cub speaker box with 2x 12 inch speakers via a speaker cable. My query was is are instrument cables appropriate to be used from the output from the peddle to the amplifier?

John S:

Yes. Instrument cable is the usual way to connect the Lone Wolf reverb into the amp's input. Also, I looked on line at the manuals for the Cub 10 and the 2x10 cab, and they appear to use 1/4" inputs, so mono 1/4" instrument cable should work to connect the cab to the amp. But check the manuals, etc., and make sure the amp extension speaker output and extension speaker input are impedence matched.
