What if any type of metal polish paste would one recommend to buff out and polish up some cover plates?  I just acquired a harp that has some scratches on the cover plates and would love to see if I can polish them out.

Hi Brett, good to hear from

Hi Brett, good to hear from you. Hands down, I would recommend Happich's Simichrome (check online search for nearby retailers). You will not be disapointed.

Just picked up some Simichrome (found it at a local MC dealership).  It worked fantastic!  Thank you Kinya.

Hey there Mr.Walker, go for

Hey there Mr.Walker, go for it! But before you stick that mouthpiece back in your mouth--thoroughly clean the residue off, with dishwashing soap (or better yet--Ultrasonic bath).
