The Memphis Minnie

Hello Steven-   Thanks for writing!  Well, the short answer is that I don't have any experience with that amp.  The longer answer will hopefully be provided by some of our other BH.com members.  Anybody out there have experience with the Memphis Minnie?

Hey Steven,I'm no expert, as

Hey Steven,

I'm no expert, as a matter of fact, I'm a beginner harmonica player, but did quite a bit of research on the Memphis Mini before buying one.  The customer support at Memphis Mini Amps is stellar and the amp is just plain gorgeous looking!  I don't have much to compare it to regarding other amps, other than what I've tried at music stores, and all of those were built for guitar.  The Memphis Mini has an awesome classic soung that can really bring out the raspiness of the classic tube amps that I've played at the stores.  In addition, the tubes and the build are made specifically for harmonica sound.  I absolutely love it.  I know that I could have picked up a less expensive and more powerful amp, but I'm not planning to play at any larger venues, so this amp just seemed to be the perfect choice for me, and it does have an output so if I do ever play somewhere that I need more sound above the band, I can always run a line out to the PA system.

Hope my feedback helps.  Would love to know what you ended up getting.

Brett
