Hi David,

I have really enjoyed the Masco chronicles that you are Mark did. I know that tone is very subjective to the end user but I am going to ask my question anyway. I wanted your option if the Megatone ME18 chassis has as much tone "availabity" or options as the vintage Masco ME18 you own. I am amazed how scare the vintage Masco amps are these days and if I was able to get one for $800, then send it to Skip for $400, I am $1200 into a project. I am leary of buying something on ebay that may be junk so I have been serioulsy considering the megatone HP head. For $1500, I can build my own cabinet and have all the power I would ever need, plus the tone characteristics on both a bassman and a vintage amp like you describe on your Weze ME18 video? The HP head may be a little more money in the long run but I would gain all of the megatone features that seem to be designed just for us harp players.

Thanks!

Hello Nick. The Megatone has

Hello Nick. The Megatone has more tone options and a warranty, I think that's a better bet for you.
