Dave

I have been switching from the Marineband Deluxe and the Special 20 both made by Hohner because some lessons required different keyed harmonicas. But I have noticed that the Special 20 with the plastic comb allows your tongue to slide between notes easier. I like the MBD sound though, but the Special 20 seems to feel much smoother when placing your tongue on the face of the harmonica and going from note to note up and down the harp.  I'm sure you have played them both over the years but does this make one prefer one over the other or is it just what you get used too and no big deal? Thx JT

Hello JT. I recommend that

Hello JT. I recommend that you play the Marine Band Deluxe, and use a lighter touch with your tongue on the face of the harmonica.
