I have two low F harps (Seydel Session Steel, and a Lee Oskar that just showed up in the mail today). I know it will get used for one of the LOA study songs. I enjoy chording and noodling on the low F, however I don't know any actual songs that use it. Would anybody know of songs they could recommend that uses the low F?

Thanks

Brian

Song that sounds best in a low key

Sonny Boy Williamson's "Bye Bye Bird". I believe David has a version based on Soony Boy's myriad of chorus options. I think it's called "Sonny's Bird". I'd also look up Sonny Boy playing it when he was on tour in Europe... it's on YouTube. Good luck.

Low F harp songs

James Harman's "Skeet-a-Little Taste" - it is available here as an artist study song. It is a great tune and hopefully you'll like it.

Thanks, how do you access these songs?

Sergei:

Thanks for the songs recommendations. I seem be having trouble acessing both of these in the artist studies. SInce I have passed LOA3 and 4 I should be able to access them, however the link in the e-mail does not seem to bring them up. I just get an artist study screen without any downloads. Would either of you know how I can get to them? I also could not find any links on the website after I logged in.

Thanks

Brian

Got it, thanks

I had tried the link before, but got nothing. I tried it after logging into the site and viola it worked. Can't wait to dig into these songs and give that low F a workout.

Thanks

Brian
