Lost my Low Key harps

Hi David

I lost my low key harps Low F Low D special 20's I want to get new one's . Does the Crossover come in low keys? Not sure witch one's to get. the Special 20's or the Thunder Birds . I liked my Low Special 20's

p.s. I was praciticing Sonny Bird and Big Walter Horton in Artist studies ( just a little here and there while going through the regular studies . is there any way to get back to the Artist studies beside sending L.O.A.

Answer

They do still make the Special 20 low harps and are generally sold for the same price as the standard keys, though sometimes stores sell them for a premium due to the special-order nature of those keys. The Crossover version of the low keys is called the Thunderbird and goes from Low F to Sub-Low F. The Special 20's are good harps, but I personally prefer the sound of the Thunderbirds due to their Marine Band design.
