Hi David,

Do you know any harmonica instructors in the Denver, CO area who you'd recommend?

Thanks.

I think checking with local

I think checking with local blues societies and looking at music store bulletin boards would be a good start. Unfortunately, harmonica instructors are hard to come by...we're a rare breed... so you may end up doing Skype lessons.

Harmonica in Denver

Skype lessons with David work really well. The next-best thing to being in person (tho' with the very best teacher). But if you're looking to work in person with someone in your areas, you may have to do a lot of looking around. The Colorado Blues Society is based in Boulder (https://www.coblues.org/home). There's the Mile High Harmonica Club (https://www.milehighharmonicaclub.com/welcome.html) which I believe was the host club for the 2015 SPAH Convention in Denver. And while I don't know of any harmonica teachers there, over the years I have crossed paths with some other instrument instructors who've taught at the Denver Folklore Center (which sells harmonicas), so you might check with them, as well. Good luck finding a local instructor whose approach matches your goals.
