Hi David,

Sometimes the LOA requirements between the level-specific video and the Quick Reference Guide differ slightly. For example the guide for Level 7 says to record the chromatic scale over holes  1 - 7, and to record the bass lines using a metronome. However, the Level 7 video says to record the chromatic scale over holes 1 - 4, and to record the bass lines over the provided backing tracks.  Does the guide supercede the video, since it was released more recently?

Thanks! -Dave K.

One more question

Thank you for your response David.

One more question: the video says the study songs can be slowed down for recording, but the PDF does not mention that as an option. Can Half Steppin' be slowed down (15%) or are you expecting the song to be recorded at full speed?

Thanks!

Building speed is part of the

Building speed is part of the skill-building process, so playing a song at full tempo... eventually... is important. With this said, I prefer good technique over speed, so yes, you can submit a study song for LOA up to 15% slow.
