Hi David,

I'm currently working on Level of Achievement 9 "Movement Exercises – Scales". The PDF lists the C Blues Scale and the Chromatic Scale. I'm assuming you want both scales performed on a C-Harp, so I recorded them that way. However, the blow bends are a bit "screechy" on my C-Harps. I tried different models, and they're all about the same. I can get the bends, but they are not as smooth sounding as they are when performed on a lower key harmonica. Note that I can't get the 10'+ (B) at all in the chromatic scale.

Do I have any flexibility here? Can I record the scales on an 'A' or 'G' harp?

Also, is the 10'+ (B) allowed to be "skipped" in the chromatic scale?

Thanks! -Dave K.

Hello Dave. Yeah, an A harp

Hello Dave. Yeah, an A harp is fine. And yes, you can skip the 10'+.
