David Hi

I am working on my LOA6 Improvisation song writing. Part of my process is to go back and review lesson LOA5 Improvisation and your feedback.

In my LOA5 “song” I used the same V  IV I turnaround three times, in the AAB  AfAfB and the ABAC chorus forms. Its interesting that this didn’t register with me initially. Whilst you didn’t mention this in your review I wonder if it’s OK/advisable to do that?  Should I have used a different V IV I each time then and should I preferable use different ones this LOA6 submission or stick to the original. As you pointed out in the lessons on focus notes I certainly over used the 4 and reinforced that by having a strong use of the 4 and 4+ in the three V IV I .

Hello John. Using the same

Hello John. Using the same V-IV-I can be a cool added theme (I've done this in my compositions as well). In your Level 6 you can leave it the same, but when you submit for your Level 8, I would like to hear each one change (just to go through the study of learning the different cool V-IV-I's I teach).
