David Hi

I am busy with LOA5 Improvisation section song writing. My problem is one of timing. When I try to move from Af Af At to the Af AfB chorus form for the second verse I struggle to get my timing right.  I have used a third party backing track thinking it had pleasing beat and very clear chord changes that I liked. The beat tends to have a prominent upbeat and I am wondering if this is throwing me. I also think the Lick timing is out and may try another lick. Could I send you a first cut of my rendition for your comment. If the backing is not advisable I will use Temperature but if its OK I will continue to work out where I am going wrong.

I would appreciate you help.

P.S. David The second verse that I am struggling with is a lick from Gary Blues and the original lick has pulls. This is messing me up timing wise so have at this stage decided to use another lick. Walk before I run strategy. I will see how to include it later.

Many thanks
