Do you know of a website resource that lists all of Little Walter's songs? Including other stuff he played on. I have his 5 disc box set, Super Blues, The Complete Muddy Box Set, and The Blues World Of but I'm wondering if I would still be missing stuff.

Answer

The book "Blues with a Feeling, the Little Walter Story" is the definitive source of all things little Walter. I am not aware of a website that is as complete as the book.

Ahh.. yes. When I first started playing last year I read this book but got bored out of my mind when it went into deep discussions of every song. Now I want to get the book again and read it just for those! haha.

It's a very detailed book... it's no doubt not a short story... a good thing for historical purposes... as Scott said to me, most likely there will not be a book written again on Walter, so mind as well get as detailed as possible for this one.

Answer

I don't have such a listing, but to be honest, all of them. They are all at the cornerstone of what we know of as blues today. Just start digging in... you'll get through all of them over time. Start with earliest works (1950 time range).
