Hi Skip, what to you think is a better speaker for blues harp, the eminence Lil' Buddy 10" or the eminence alinco blue frame 10" that was in the early bassman reissues. Thanks in advance... Cheers

Which speaker for me......

Hello Bluez! You know, choices are great, but it can lead to over-analyzing. It wasn't that long ago that the "generic" pre-label Eminence 10s were the ONLY new speaker available for harp, and many pros thought they were just fine. Now we have tons of choices........ ribbed cone or smooth cone!!??

Now we all know that the blue-frame Eminence speakers sound great, right? I'm pretty sure that the Little Buddy sounds great too! Personally, I think ceramic-magnet speakers are the way to go....more bass!

Now the bottom line. The bottom line is that technique always trumps equipment.
