Learning the Blues with Wynton Marsalis

Hi,
I'm usually not in the habit of sharing videos, but today I came across about a session with the amazing Wynton Marsalis,
"Leaning the Blues":

He goes over the train, the blues scale, the 12-bar form, call-and-response, the AAB structure of Blues lyrics and more in the manner of 20 minutes.
Very impressive, and I think there's a nugget of information in there for everybody here.

Thank you for sharing. Much of what Mr. Marsalis was talking about I've learned here and bluesharmonica.com. One key thing I took away from this video was the purpose of the blues music. Since I have no musical back ground to me music has alwasy been something you like or don't like. I have never viewed music as something with purpose (such as fixing something, or prepairing you for something.) It kinda gives me a little differnet prospective as to what I am doing at bluesharmonica.com.
Again, thank you for sharing this video.
