David:

Laney is replacing CUB 10 with Cub Super 10.

Cub 10s are vanishing. Vendors are taking orders for Cub Super 10 for "soon" delivery.

Cub Super 10 has more controls, but only one input.

Biggest change is with Power Tubes (going from 2 x ECC83 to 1 x EL84).

I posted to Ask Amp Tech Expert Skip Simmons asking what the tube change might mean for sound, but

I was wondering if I should get one of the last Cub 10s, or wait for the Cub Super 10.

There is a considerable price difference between the two:

CUB 10 = $355.95Cub Super 10 = $479.99

Hello Evets. Bummer... the

Hello Evets. Bummer... the original model is great. One less power tube means less wattage and more distortion... two things we don't want in a small amp. Without testing, I definitely recommend that you get the older model.
