Hi

I know by going through the reviews on amps here 10” speakers are better than 12” for harp playing but I have a chance of a Laney Cub 212r, should I give this a miss or give it a try, I have recently purchased a Bulletini mic to go with my amp.

Cheers

Roger

Nothing wrong with 12”

Nothing wrong with 12” speakers for harp, they can sound great, but they do ad weight. I’d actually be more concerned that the amp you mention is designed for and uses EL84 power tubes, something that doesnt usually work well for harp. If I’m not mistaken, you’ll find very few harp players using EL84 tube amps. So, if it were me, I wouldn’t even bother going to check out the amp, but that’s just me. You might find value in giving it a try.
