Skip: I have a Masco that you did which I bought from Fritz. I'm wondering if a Kinder Anti Feedback pedal would hinder the tone on this PA? I have some friends that have used them but they don't live close by to where I could try it.

Answer

Hello Jon- The Kinder unit will work great with any amp, and it will certainly help control feedback. However, the more "limiting" you use to control feedback, the more it affects the tone and response of the amp.

kinder

I had a Kinder pedal that I used on a Masco MA 25 with a 12" 100 watt alnico speaker the sound I got was the best sound I have had very loud fat & raspy, I could get 10X more volume with the AFB+ . I also used it with a Masco ME27 that had 4x8inch Jensen speakers but it sounded too distorted & brittle when I used it with that amp.

I think it works better with some amps compared to others that's my experience with it

The kinder pedal will def

The kinder pedal will def give you more volume. It is so hard to dial in in my opinion. Sometimes I love it for its raspy fatness, sometime I hate it.

I still haven't really figured out the knobs and how to hit the sweet spot with it. I have a love/hate relationship with this pedal.
