Hi David!

in Juicy harmonica there is a large usage of the 3+,

I like to TB everything, what kind of articulation can I use?

I usually use "g" or slap....

thanks

Answer

Slap is your #1 treatment choice (it's not technically an articulation, because the air is never stopped). The articulation for post war Chicago blues is almost always a slight cough... the same as what we do for a tremolo (closing and then opening of the vocal folds). You can use it with or without a slap. Have fun, this is a great song.
