hi david

are there any songs you have in the course that teach about the boogie style of john lee hooker

or any songs that stay on the one chord?

if so, could you mention the lesson number?

thanks

Hello Tommy. Unfortunately I

Hello Tommy. Unfortunately I don't have any study songs that cover that beat. I do have a lesson here https://www.bluesharmonica.com/lessons/improvising_study_9_approaches, Section 2, on how to work with modal blues.

suggestion of modal forms

thank you david

that is a wonderful suggestion

i will follow up on the link on how to begin with modal blues, improvising-study 9 section 2

also, forgive me for asking what i thought was a simple question

i went to the page that had a list of all the studies and all the contributors, i then, for the third time, had my understanding enlarged of the

size, length, and breadth of what bluesharmonica.com is about

each of the three timesi thought had looked at the site, i had underestimated what you have accomplished

no one will ever be able to duplicate what you have done

as i was going through the list of lessons, i was skimming as i looked for boogie style and staying on the one chord

then i began to go more slowly and read more, as well as the contributors

i made notes on where the cupping lessons are at, about staying on the one chord, about the lone wolf settings of the delay and attack,

about 2nd position with a minor key, stuck reeds, feedback, amp tone settings for wezo 45 you once owned, about garage band,

and about george harmonica smith's swing chromatic,

i had a curiosity on how you got so many great players to give long lessons

i imagined a few quick possible answers,

then i realized it is the teaching and what you get from that, and the giving

could you tell me, before i do anything or post anything, in the "share" section, may i or may i not put in live club tracts recorded, some lenghty among nine?

better for me to ask first, than create a misunderstanding?

so thank you again

tommy

I'm glad you're enjoying the

I'm glad you're enjoying the material Tommy.

There's so much on the site, always feel free to ask where something may be.

You are welcome to submit recordings of your playing on the Share section, even if they are lengthy, and many...just make sure they are of you, and not someone else.
