Where should I post questions about Joe's lessons in the forum? Or is there another way for these lessons?

Laughs! Good answer to a badly stated question! I was referring to Joe Filisko's lessons. Thanks.

Re:breathing for train imitation

I'll try to be as clear as possible.

When using the "throat" technique, especially at moderate speed, is the breath for each pair (2 inhales; 2 exhales) a single longer breath interrupted by a sort of 'cough' (similarly to the throat vibrato) or by some tongue articulation at the back of the mouth or rather two consecutive short breaths in the same direction (inhale or exhale, kind of panting)?

Thank you to whoever will answer!

Hey Stef. One breath, with the second note of each pair articulated with the "'cough' (similarly to the throat vibrato)" or DA. Some players also use Ta Ka Too Ka. Experiment... some students have an easier time with Ta Ka Too Ka and others with the throat.

Train articulation

Thanks David. I just could not hear it accurately. I do switch to a TA-KA TOOU-KA tongue articulation at higher speed, but I don't like that effect at lower speed.

Sure! Experiment with it,

Sure! Experiment with it, it's fun. You can use Ta, then throat, Too, and then throat (articulating with the tongue for the start of each pair and then using the throat for the second note of each pair). The combinations are numerous.
