Really enjoying the Joe T. videos as they confirm we all mostly have the same issues and if one of us can do it then most any of us can do it.
As is often the case, I'm just a bit confused by video order. Joe's Pulls video and Solo Study 2 Ex 2.1 and 2.2 are sandwiched between Temperature and basic bending both from LOA 2. As best I can tell pulls aren't introduced until LOA 4 with LOA 2 being restricted to tongue lifts. Should I wait until reaching LOA 4 or is this appropriate for LOA 2? Thanks!
Good morning SmokeJS. The lessons with Joe and Ryan are their private lessons. What's taught is generally based in the order of the lessons on the site, but more so based on where they're at in a given point... their aptitude for particular techniques and their desires on the instrument. This is reflective of all my private students... no one goes in a direct path, there's always twists and turns in regards to interest. Some student love the Solo Harmonica Studies, so we may do all of those and no study songs until they've spent a year on those. You're welcome to follow my suggested order (LOA), but feel free to allow your interests drive your path. Don't be preoccupied with a strict order, as long as you're working on something and enjoying your studies you'll do just fine.
