Hi David
I found an audio file on www.overblow.com on the D Major scale. In harmonica session you say to memorize this. when I practice it doesn't sound right. maybe bc I am just starting to learn it and its a new sound. and I 'm not sure if I am getting the 2 ' and the 3 '' & 4 ' to sound right

Keyboards
Put the word out to family and friends that you're in need of a keyboard. You might be suprised at how many people will have a cheap keyboard stashed in an attic or closet that they might let you use or just have.
My girfriend's kid had one that wasn't being used and it helped me quite a bit. I'll still go back to it every so often (I don't overblow tho!).
Yes, the bends need to be in tune to sound right... and that's a good challenge. Purchase an inexpensive piano (an AP for your computer or phone would be an okay substitution) and play the scale while you play it on the harmonica... match the notes, pitch for pitch... that's how we all do it.
