You might look up Harmonica

You might look up Harmonica John Frazer. Nowadays you can also study by video chat. I have students all over the world (including San Diego) whom I teach by Skype, FaceTime, and Google Hangouts.

Thanks! I had a lesson with him years ago. Maybe it's time to try again. i've been working on the chromatic more lately though, and haven't found anyone who focuses on that.

Hi Winslow, I might be

Hi Winslow, I might be interested in some lessons from you. To give you an idea of my level, I've completed Level 2 of David's LOA program, then got a little off track with that when I picked up a chromatic. I can play a decent rendition of "Cool Blue" in David's chromatic section.I still struggle mightily with understanding chord progressions, although I kinda get the 12 bar blues structure. Not sure what level I would really call myself with my lack of basic theory knowledge. I've never tried the Skype thing (bit of Luddite in me still I guess), but I'm willing to give it a go. What do you charge for whatever communication method you feel would be best?

Thanks, and I look forward to working with you!

Jay
