One band that I've been lisening to a lot recently is the threesome 'HowellDevine' (Joshua Howell - Harp/Guitar, Pete Devine - Drums, and Joe Kyle Jr. - Bass).  They play a style of blues that's hard to pigeon hole so let your ears decide;

just had to plug that into the stereo and play along learning as I go.
