Hi,

I'm a beginner student but i had a harmonica for around 16 years but never start to study it, for many years i only play "Oh Suzana" and very bad.

Around a year i start to study it very serious, i had some presencial lessons and skype lessons, now i'm start the lessons here at Blues Harmonica.

But i was always teach to play with pucker embouchure, i already play clear notes and bend notes this way.

And here in Blues Harmonica you teach to play tongue blocking.

I would like some guides to what to do, should i study all lessons pucker? For example i can play "Walk With Me" very well pucker but very bad tongue blocking.

Thank you very much!

Welcome to the site. Study the songs in a pucker... keep on developing your skills with the pucker. Tongue blocking will also add some nice sounds to your playing, so when you're ready, dig into Tongue Blocking Study 2, playing mostly pucker on holes 1, 2 and 3... then slaps when they're called for on holes 4 and above (it's shown in the notation with the small open circles above the note heads). Your end goal is to learn how to slap, pull and play octaves... these will be great sounds to add to your playing. Best regards on your studies.
