Holes in Rocket versus Rocket Low
Hi Kinya,
So, I've got a small collection of Rockets and one Rocket Low in F. If I position each of the regular harps they pretty much feel indistinguishable, except for the Rocket Low: it just feels a bit different. It seems the holes aren't exactly the same size but it's hard to tell since the color difference in the combs might create an optical illusion. I think that though they are the same size side to side, the Low might be a tad smaller top to bottom. Can you comment on this?

I thought you might know off the top of your head. I think I’ll try to get a small caliper instrument and then send you the results along w the photos you’ve asked for. His should be an easy exercise, given one actually has the harps at the ready.

Hi Ace, I do not own or have seen any of the Rocket low tuned harmonicas ... do me a favor and send me a photo of the two Rockets--with a ruler (tape measure) in the background of each harmonica.
