I am new to the harmonica but because of a stroke I cannot hold the harmonica in the conventional manner. My left hand forefinger and thumb do not allow me to hold the innystrument in the normal way. Is there any way that I can overcome this?

Hello Rawle, welcome to the

Hello Rawle, welcome to the site. No worries... hold the harmonica with your right hand, in whichever way feels comfortable to you. When you come across hand techniques (such as the Wa Wa) down the road, there are ways to make similar effects with the mouth, so in no way will you be missing anything from holding with one hand. Best wishes on your studies.
