Hi Dave

I am writing again re: the holding of the harmonica following my recent post. I returned to the harmonica fundamentals video and it is clear in hindsight that you where just referring to getting a tight cup for getting effects eg. Wa Wa. However, I initially thought that you meant that the tight cup was used routinely when playing. I now realise, if I understand it correctly,  that a semi open(leaky) cup is used most of the time and the fully open is used after finishing a Wa Wa effect or another musical effect as required. I want to get this right as I fear that I have been using inappropriate technique since begining with blues harmonica.

I also noted that the intro video for fundamentals stops downloading after 1.54 mins. This may just be my computer but I thought I should mention it.

Thanks

Thank you bordercollie. That will happen every now and again for the videos. Refreshing the page (Command-R on my computer) will usually do take care of that.
