Hi Skip,

I bought one of the above at the end of last year because I wanted a tube amp and it was new but half price. My only concern is that it is maybe not working properly. For example if I turn the gain down all the way it cuts the sound completely. Is this to be expected?

Any advice on this amp or anyone I should speak to, info hard to come by.

Thanks,

Graham

Hello Graham. I'll answer

Hello Graham. I'll answer this for Skip. This is a normal feature for an amp with Gain. Basically the Volume and Gain work together. More Volume and less Gain gives you a cleaner sound. More Gain and less Volume gives you a more distorted sound. We love distortion, but keep in mind that the more distortion that you use, the more feedback you will get. Have fun with the amp.
