Hi everyone,
I bought one of the above at the end of last year because I wanted a tube amp and it was new but half price. My only concern is that it is maybe not working properly. For example if I turn the gain down all the way it cuts the sound completely. Is this to be expected, anyone know or advise who I might be able to speak with?

Graham: You might try this question in Skip Simmons' "Ask Amp Tech Expert Skip Simmons" thread on this Forum. He answered a question about the Hoo Doo back in 2012, but not on this issue. If anyone has a schematic and can figure out whether or not one must turn up the gain to get any signal, Skip will. Good luck.
