Hi Winslow

I see that Hohner is releasing a new chromatic model, the ACE 48. I recall reading that they will be showing it at SPAH.

 I was wondering if you could share any thoughts on the new ACE.

More when I actually play it at SPAH

Hi, Andrew.

I haven't played it or even seen it in the flesh, even though I've been hearing bits and pieces for the last couple of years. However, I have seen the patent, which Brendan Power dug up. Evdeintly it lets you stuff different materials inside the hollow comb. The photos that have come out in the last couple of weeks resemble the Hohner Discovery, but with a more metallic look.

I'll have more to report when I see it (and, I hope, play it) at the upcoming SPAH convention.
